The Anti-Drug Cell of K.E.T College of Teacher Education is committed to maintaining a healthy, safe and drug-free campus. In line with the guidelines of the Government of Kerala and the University Grants Commission, the cell works to create awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, alcohol and other intoxicants, and to promote a culture of wellness among students.
The cell organises awareness campaigns, seminars, pledge programmes and interactive sessions in collaboration with health professionals and de-addiction agencies. It also provides confidential guidance and support to any student in need, working closely with the Guidance & Counselling Cell to ensure holistic student welfare.
Objectives
- Promote a drug-free and healthy campus environment.
- Create awareness about the dangers of substance abuse.
- Organise awareness programmes, seminars and pledge-taking sessions.
- Provide confidential support and referral for students in need.
- Encourage healthy lifestyles, sports and extracurricular engagement.
